Pretty cool that you found a solid outsourced boardhouse for your project

I've had a bad experience in shipping and product ordered for a small lighting project I did a few years back so I've been using a local (Northern California) source that has some pretty awesome service: San Francisco Circuits - http://www.sfcircuits.com
@sfcircuits on twitter too

...seems like the international industries have improved in recent years, however, so I'll def. bookmark the guys you used.

All the best,

Another company that produces quality PCBs is Sunstone Circuits. They are an American based company out of Mulino, Washington. They make it really easy to design your PCBs and everything can be done online. I have used them a few times now and I am definitely pleased with the results each time. Check out Sunstone Circuits at http://www.sunstone.com

Thanks for the article, seems like an excellent deal! If you want some inexpensive boards you can also try PCB International. $94.99 100 in2 for full feature board including multiple designs. I've used them a few times and their quality is outstanding. http://www.pcbinternational.com

Thanks for the tips. I was planning to use BatchPCB at some point, as the price looks pretty good. I priced out a 2.2"x1.8" board for my SP0256-AL2 speech chip circuit at US$20 ~ $12.50 € (incl setup fee). Planning to have a PCB made for real once I add an AVR to the circuit for simplified interface (and to do TTS??).

I've had a lot of great boards made by Advanced Circuits at www.4PCB.com

Everything is online and fairly painless, plus, if you are a student I believe they still offer a discount for that (you also get a free pizza and 2 liter soda as well, hoorah!). Turn around is fast and they are pretty cheap.

Hmm, looks great! Looking forward to hear from you if the quality meets your expectation. Probably I will try them too and will shamelessly use your experience ;)
